Derek is a Senior from Westchester, New York majoring in Economics. Derek chose to study Economics because of his interest in understanding how the function of our society works and hopes that the Economics Club can serve to help other Economics majors find job and internship opportunities within the field. His hobbies include writing and watching movies.
JAKE VALL-LLOBERA
Leader of Events Administration Committee
Jake Vall-Llobera is a Senior from Westfield, New Jersey perusing a major in Economics and minors in Entrepreneurship and Management and Financial Economics. Jake has always been fascinated with investment strategies and gaining financial freedom. This lead him to be interested primarily in the field of Wealth Management. He joined the Economics club to meet other likeminded students that can push each other to higher levels of success. As the club’s prestige continues to grow the vast alumni network will prove vital in his future ventures as well. Jake is a member of the Hopkins Football team and spends his time playing call of duty and golf with his teammates.
TOMMY SEUNG YEUP LEE

Tommy is a Senior from Busan, South Korea studying economics and business. Tommy decided to pursue economics because of its wide application to the worldwide events. Through economics club, he hopes to build a platform that connects economics majors with alumni who are working in various fields including banking, consulting and other finance-related fields. His hobbies include playing soccer and listening to EDM.
CAMMIE BERMAN
Leader of Hopkins Collaboration Committee
Cammie is a Senior from Baltimore, Maryland studying international studies and economics and pursuing a minor in marketing and communications. She joined the Economics club to become more connected to those within the major as well as the economics faculty. Outside of school, Cammie likes exercising, watching tv, and trying new restaurants.
ADAM KIM
Leader of Alumni Relations Committee
Adam is a sophomore from Potomac, Maryland majoring in Economics and Political Science with a minor in Mathematics. Adam chose to study Economics due to its everyday applicability and his interest in where politics and the financial sector intersect. He joined the Economics Club to help undergraduates build connections and establish relationships with alumni, faculty, and graduate students. Adam is a member of Phi Kappa Psi, and spends most of his free time with friends – he also enjoys playing the guitar and eating trail mix.
CHRISTOPHER CRESPO
Leader of Financial Committee
Chris is a senior studying economics and international studies. Like most people, Chris majored in economics hoping to get rich quickly. He has since realized that the field uses too many numbers for his liking and gets sleepy when he has to do math. He is the treasurer of the club and can often be found napping.
