Alumni Spotlight Event with Jeffrey Shiu

Dear Economics students and faculty,

The Johns Hopkins Economics Club and the Center for Financial Economics have invited Jeffrey Shiu, the Senior Managing Director at Macquarie Capital, to speak at an Alumni Spotlight Event next week. Mr. Shiu graduated from Johns Hopkins in 2002, and worked as a director at Credit Suisse before moving on to his current role at Macquarie Capital, where he has worked since 2009.

Mr. Shiu is the global head of the Innovative Equity Ventures team for Macquarie Capital, and has worked in different countries around the world. Any students or faculty with an interest in growth equity, investment banking, or global TMT (technology, media and entertainment, telecommunications) are encouraged to attend the event.

The event will take place on Wednesday, September 29th, from 4:30 – 5:30 PM (EDT). Please see the attached flyer for more information about the event.
